Make Electrical Connection
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Use 8 gauge solid copper wire.
Electrically ground the oven.
Failure to follow these instructions can
result in death, fire or electrical shock.
• Disconnect power.
• Feed the flexible conduit from through the opening in the cabinet.
• Remove junction box cover, if it is present.
• Install a UL listed or CSA approved conduit connector to the junction box.
• Route the flexible conduit from the oven to the junction box through a UL listed
or CSA approved conduit connector.
• Tighten screens on conduit connection.
• See “Electrical Connection Options” to complete installation for your type of
electrical connection.
Warning
Grounding through the neutral conductor is prohibited for new branch-circuit
installations(1996 NEC), mobile homes, and recreational vehicles, or in an
area(like Canada) where local codes prohibit grounding through the neutral
conductor.
All electrical work should be carried out by a suitable qualified and authorised
electrician.
No alterations or wilful changes in the electricity supply should be carried out.
