Base
Base
The base is made of plastic. The water reservoir for
the pump is part of the base. It can be replace if
damaged.
To remove the base:
1. Remove the motor assembly and condensate
pump. (See Motor Assembly and Condensate
Pump.)
2. Remove wiring harness from the base.
3. Remove the 4 Phillips-head screws that secure
the base to the front of the dryer frame.
4. Remove 9 Phillips-head screws and base from
the dryer.
