What to do if my GE Industrial Electrical motor does not rotate?
    • P
      Paul LoveAug 7, 2025
If your GE Industrial Electrical motor isn't rotating, ensure the drive is receiving power by checking the input and output voltage, as well as any interphase imbalance. Connect a molded case circuit breaker, a ground fault circuit interrupter, or a magnetic contactor. Also, verify there are no voltage drops, phase losses, poor connections, or contacts. Correct any issues found.

Why isn't the current limiting operation increasing the output frequency in my GE Industrial Electrical system?
    • J
      jeremiah50Aug 16, 2025
If the current limiting operation in your GE Industrial Electrical system isn't increasing the output frequency, verify if the current limiting is active using Menu #3 “drive monitoring” and check the data for the current limiting level (F44). Adjust the level of the current limiting (F44) to an appropriate value.

What to do if GE Industrial Electrical motor rotates, but the speed does not increase?
    • K
      kalvarezAug 26, 2025
If your GE Industrial Electrical motor rotates but the speed does not increase, check if the maximum frequency (F03) is set too low and reset it to the correct value. Also check if the peak frequency of the frequency limiter (F15) is set too low and reset it to a correct value. Also, check the acceleration/deceleration time and change it to match the load.
