The Agitator Cap (onsome models)
The agitator cap fits into the top of the
agitator. If it accidentally comes off,
simply put it back on.

Fabric Softener Dispenser (onsomemodels)
Thefabric softener dispenser automatically r{l Add water to dispenser until it reaches
releasesliquid fabric softener. Settingthe '_' the maximum fill line.

Do not stop the washer or raise the lid
during the first spin. Thiswill cause the
dispenser to empty too soon.
To use, follow these steps:
r_-i Hake suredispenser issecurely attached
to agitator.
_] Useonly diluted liquid fabric softener.
Pourinto dispenser,using amount
recommended on package.
Never pour fabric softener directly on items.
It may stain them.
Do not pour anything into the
agitator if the agitator cap or
dispenser is removed.
r41select FABRICSOFTENERsetting knobto
activate the cycle.
Note: Fabric softener will not dispense if the
knob is in the "OFF" position.
Separate for cleaning
Cleaning the Fabric Softener Dispenser (onsome models)
_1 Removethe dispenser from the top of the agitator.
_] Separate the dispensercup from the cover by grasping the top and pushingdown on the
insideof the cup with your fingers. Dispensercup will pop free from the cover.
r-_] Toclean the dispenser,soak both the dispenser cup and the dispenser cover inthe
following solution:
• 1 USgallon (3.8liters)warm water
• 1/4 cup (60ml) heavy-duty liquid detergent
• 1 cup (240ml) bleach
_]lf necessary,loosenbuildup with a clean,soft cloth after soaking. Do not usea stiff brush;
you may roughen the surface of the dispenser.
r-_ Rinseand reassemble dispenser. Placedispenser back on the agitator.
