Discoloration on tile grates may also be
removed by using the provided cooktop
cleaning cream. Apply a drop or two on a
damp cloth and rub across tile discolored
area. Rinse and (li T _Mter cleaning,
replace tile burner grates and make
sure they, are positioned securely, over
tile burne_.

gradually lose their shine, regardless of
the best care xou can gixe them. This is
due to their continual exposure to high
temperatm'es. You will notice this sooner
with lighter color grates.
Do not ol)erate a burner t0r an extended
period of tiine without cookware on tile
bm'ner grate. The finish on the grate may
chip without cookwme to absorb tile heat.
Replacement
getore repladng tile ;'ent grille, make
sure the grille gasket is properly installed
around the downdrafl vent opening, with
the word "FRONT" toward the knobs.
Replace the vent grille carefully over
the gasket.

Vent Filter and Chamber
Remo\ e tile vent grille and vent grille
gasket. The filter is held in place at an
angle with a hold bmnp. Lilt the filter
up and out of tile vent opening
diagonally.
Clean tile filter by swishing it in hot,
soap) _<_ter. Rinse well and (lr}
thoroughly.
Vent Grille
Vent Filter -Chamber
Remove and replace the filter diagonally through
the vent opening.
Be notoperate the vent without the filter
in place.
When replacing flTefilter, make sure it rests, at an
angle, on the supports in the vent opening.
To clean the vent chamber, use hot, soapy
watel: Do not use abrasive cleaners; they
will damage tile finish.
Replacement
Repk_( e tile filter after it is cleaned and
dry. Replace tile vent grille gasket by
fimning it around tile vent opening and
make sm'e the word "FRONT" is toward
tile knobs. Replace tile grille.
