    • K
      Kaylee BakerSep 2, 2025
The "LOCK DOOR" flashing in the display of your GE Ranges indicates that the self-clean cycle has been selected, but the oven door is not closed. Close the oven door and latch it if your unit has a manual latch.

Why does my GE JS660 oven sometimes take longer to preheat to the same temperature?
    • R
      robertdunnSep 5, 2025
The cookware or food in the oven will cause the oven to take longer to preheat. Remove items to reduce preheat time. Adding more racks to the oven will cause the oven to take longer to preheat. Remove some racks.

    Christian McneilSep 5, 2025
Why is my GE JS660 new oven not cooking like my old one?
    • E
      emoralesSep 5, 2025
Your new GE Ranges oven may cook differently because it has a different cooking system than your old oven. Carefully follow recipe times and temperatures for the first few uses. If you still think your new oven is too hot or too cold, you can adjust the temperature yourself by following the steps in Special Features to meet your specific cooking preference. Note that this adjustment affects Bake and Convection Bake temperatures only.

How to fix GE JS660 Ranges oven racks that are difficult to slide?
    • G
      Gloria LevineSep 6, 2025
If the oven racks in your GE Ranges are difficult to slide, especially if they are shiny and silver-colored and have been cleaned in a self-clean cycle, apply a small amount of vegetable oil to a paper towel and wipe the edges of the oven racks with the paper towel. Do not spray with Pam® or other lubricant sprays.
