      An odor from the insulation around the inside of the oven is normal for the first few times the GE Ranges oven is used. This is temporary and will go away after several uses or a self-clean cycle.

      If your GE Ranges oven isn't working, start by checking the fuse box or circuit breaker in your home and replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker if needed. Also, ensure that the oven controls are properly set. Finally, make sure the oven is not in Sabbath Mode.

      A cooling fan may automatically turn on in your GE Ranges. This is normal on some models. The cooling fan will turn off and on to cool internal parts. It may run after the oven is turned off.

Do not spray with Pam® or other lubricant sprays.
