POSSIBLE CAUSE

error code. Press the CLEAR/OFF
pad.
Allow the oven to cool
one
hour. Place the oven back into operation. If function error occurs again,
disconnect power to the oven and call for service.

The circuit breaker in your house has been tripped, or a fuse has been blown.
● The oven controls are not properly set.
●
The light bulb is loose or defective. Tighten or replace.
●
The switch operating the oven light is broken. Call for service.

Oven controls not set properly. See the Broiling section.
●
Door not left open to the broil stop position as recommended.
●
Improper shelf position being used. See the Broiling Guide.
● Food is being cooked on a hot pan.
● Cookware is not suited for broiling.

Aluminum foil used on the broiler pan and rack has not been fitted properly
and slit as recommended.

Make sure electrical plug is plugged into a live, properly grounded power outlet.
● Check for a power outage.

Oven temperature, is too high to set self-clean operation.
Allow the range to cool to room temperature and reset the controls.

below the locking temperature
door can be opened.

normal
in
a
new oven
and
will disappear in time. To speed the process,
set a self-clean cycle for a minimum of 3 hours. See the Operating the Self-
Cleaning Oven section.

odor from the insulation around the inside of the oven is normal for the
first
few times the oven is
used.
This is temporary.
● A
fan
may
automatically turn on and off to cool internal parts. This is normal,
and
the fan may continue to run after the oven is turned off.
