USE THIS PROBLEM SOLVER
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE
"F-AND A NUMBER This is a function error code. Press CLEAR/OFF. Allow the oven to cool one
OR LETTER" FLASH hour. Place the oven back into operation.
IN THE DISPLAY Disconnect all power to the oven for 5 minutes and then reconnect power. If the
failure code repeats, call for service.
CLOCK AND T1MER Check for power outage.
DO NOT WORK I
CONTROL SIGNALS AFTER This is reminding you to press BAKE and then enter a temperature.
ENTERING COOKING TIME
OR DELAY START TIME This is reminding you to enter a bake temperature after having pressed BAKE.
This is reminding you to close the oven door so the self-clean cycle can start.
DISPLAY GOES BLANK The circuit breaker in your house has been tripped, or a fuse has been blown.
DISPLAY FLASHES Power thilure. Reset the clock.
UNABLE TO GET THE BAKE and BROIL HFLO must be pressed at the same time and held for
DISPLAY TO SHOW "SF' 2 seconds.
"LOCK DOOR" FLASHES Oven door not closed after self-clean cycle is selected.
"LOCKED DOOR" FLASHES Door is still locked and you are trying to enter an oven cooking operation.
OVEN LIGHT DOES The light bulb is loose or defective. Tighten or replace.
NOT WORK The pad operating the oven light is broken. Call for service.
OVEN WILL NOT SET Oven temperature is too high to set self-clean operauon.
A SELF-CLEAN CYCLE Allow the oven to cool to room temperature and reset the controls.
Oven door not fuliy closed.
If the self-cleaning mode malfunctions, turn the oven off and disconnect the
power supply. Have it serviced by a qualified technician.
OVEN NOT CLEAN Oven controls not set properly. See the Operating the Self-Cleaning
AFTER CLEAN CYCLE Oven section.
Heavily soiled ovens require 4 to 5 hours of clean thne.
Heavy spillovers should be cleaned up before starting clean cycle.
