Aluminum Foil and Oven Liners
CAUTION
Do not use any type of foil or oven liner to cover the oven bottom. These items can melt, trap heat, or block
airflow, resulting in damage to the product and risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, shock, smoke or fire. Damage from
improper use of these items is not covered by the product warranty.
Foil may be used to catch spills by placing a sheet on a lower rack, several inches below the food. Do not use more foil than necessary
andneverentirelycoveranovenrackwithaluminumfoil.Keepfoilatleast1-1/2”fromovenwallstoallowproperheatcirculation.
Oven Controls

Start: Must be pressed to start any cooking, cleaning, or
timed function.
Clock: Sets the oven clock time. Press the Set Clock pad,
and use the number pads to program the clock. Press Start to
save the time.
Cook Time: Counts down cooking time and turns off
the oven when the cooking time is complete. Press the
desired cooking mode pad, then press the Cook Time pad.
Usethenumberpadstoprogramacookingtimeinhours
and minutes, then press Start. This can only be used with
Traditional Bake, Convection Bake, Convection Roast and
Air Fry (on some models).
Timer: Worksasacountdowntimer.PresstheTimer
pad and the number pads to program the time in hours and
minutes. Press the Start pad. The oven will continue to
operate when the timer countdown is complete. To turn the
timer off, press the Timer pad.
Delay Time: Delayswhentheovenwillturnon.Use
this to set a time when you want the oven to start. Press
the desired cooking mode pad, then press the Delay Time
pad.Usethenumberpadstoprogramthetimeofdayfor
the oven to turn on, then press Start. A cook time may also
be programmed if desired. Delay Time is not available on all
modes.
Oven Cooking Modes and Recommendations
Follow these general recommendations for better results. For a complete cooking guide with recommended
cookingmodesandfoodpositions,seethefullowner’smanualatwww.GEAppliances.ca/en/
Bake:Usethismodeforgeneralbakingonasinglerack.
Place food in approximately the center of the oven.
Convection Bake:Usethismodeforbaking
on multiple racks. Your oven is equipped with Auto
Recipe Conversion, so it is not necessary to adjust the
temperature when using this mode.
Convection Roast:Usethismodeforroasting
meats or vegetables. Auto Recipe Conversion is not
applied in this mode.
Broil:Usethismodeforsearingfoods.Alwaysbroilwith
the door closed. For better searing or browning, place
good closer to the broil heater.
Air Fry (on some models): The Air Fry mode
is designed to produce foods with a crispier exterior than
traditional oven cooking. The Air Fry mode is intended for
single rack cooking only. Select Air Fry, then input the
desired set temperature and press Start. The temperature
can be set between 300°F and 500°F. Preheating is not
recommended for this mode. Follow traditional oven recipe
or package guidelines for set temperatures and cook
times; adjust cook time to achieve your desired crispness.

bake foods to a precise temperature. For details on proper

Thereareseveraldifferentspecialfeaturesonyourrange.Tochangethesettingsofthesespecialfeatures:
■ PresstheBake and Broil pads at the same time and hold until the special features menu is displayed.
■ Usethe2 and 8 number pads to toggle through the special features until the desired feature is displayed.
■ Pressthe6 to enter into the feature’s menu and toggle through the options.
■ Oncethedesiredoptionisdisplayed,press6 to save the setting and 4 to exit the menu.
Adjust the Oven Temperature
This feature allows the oven baking temperature to be
adjustedupto35ºFhotterordownto35ºFcooler.Use
this feature if you believe your oven temperature is too hot
or too cold and wish to change it. This adjustment affects
every cooking mode except broil.
Enter into the special features menu as outlined above.
Togglethroughthefeaturesuntil“offset”isdisplayed
and press 6 to enter. Press 2 to increase the adjusted
temperature or use the 8 pad to decrease the adjusted
temperature. Save and exit the special features menu.
