How tomethe
soak cycle
NORMAL ‘EAW
SOIL
~ “SOAK CYCLE” temperature
will automaticallybe cold.
*If a hotor warmsoakis desired,set
theWASH/RINSETEMPERATURE
switchto Hot/Cold or Warm/Cold
and turn the Cycle Selectorknob to
“NORMAL” in the Regular Cycles.
Start the washer.ARer washer fills
and beginsto agitate, pushin the
CycleSelectorknob and turn to
“SOAKCYCLE~’PullouttheCycle
Selectorknobto completethe cycle.
Qvoran extended soak,allowthe
washer to fill and agitatefor a few
minutestodissolvethe soaking
agent. Then push in the Cycle
Selector knob to stop the washer
(keeplidclosed)andallowto soak
for as longas desired. After desired
soak period, pull out the Cycle
SeJectorknobto completethe cycle.
@Do notusethe Mini-Basket tub
with the
soakcycle.

After loadingclothesin the Mini-
Baskettub, be sureto replacethe
Filter-F1opan. Thepan servesas
a lid to keep the clothesin the
Mini-Baskettub.
NOTE: DonotusetheFilter-Flopan
as a wash basket. Do not put any
itemsto be washedin the Filter-Flo
pan. Do notplace detergentpackets
in the Filter-Flo pan.

theMimi”Baskettub:
~Do not wash clothes in the
regular basket when usingthe
Mini-Basket tub.
~ Do not use the Mini-Baskettub
with the Soak Cycle.
QWhen washing stockings,
panty hose and other easily tangled
items, alwayshandle separately.To
minimize tangling, the use of a net
laundry bag is recommended.
Here’s how to use the Mini-Basket
tLlb:
+Remove Fiiter-Fio
pan.

~Place Mini-Baskettub on agitator.
Pullthe agitatortowardthe front of
the machineforeasier installation
and removalofMini-Baskettub.
=Put 1/4to 1/3cup (60 to 80 ml)
detergentin the bottomofthe
Mini-Baskettub.
~Load clothes in Mini-Baskettub,
Seepage 9 for sortinghelp.
~After loading clothes in the Mini-
Baskettub, be sure to replacetlze
Filter-Flopan. The pan serves as a
lid to keep the clothes in the Mini-
Baskettub.
QClose lid and set controls as
follows:
–Set Water Levelto “MII’?I-
BASKET” position.
