Troubleshooting during the pressing sequence
Fault Cause Actions
The pressing tool cannot
be started and no LED
lights up
Rechargeable battery is
defective
` Have the rechargeable battery
examined by a repair shop and
replace it if necessary
Rechargeable battery is
not inserted
` Insert the rechargeable battery
Green LED flashes Retaining pin is not pushed
in correctly
` Push the retaining pin in until the
stop position is reached
Fault Cause Actions
Green LED flashes and
roller drive moves back to
its starting position
Retaining pin has come
loose
` Examine the retaining pin for
damage
` Push the retaining pin in until the
stop position is reached: green
LED lights up
` Examine the pressfitting for
tightness and repeat the
pressing operation if necessary
Green LED flashes Rechargeable battery not
charged up sufficiently
` Charge the rechargeable battery
or replace it
Red LED flashes Start button was released
too soon
` Press unlocking button: roller
drive moves to its starting
position
` Repeat the pressing operation:
press the start button for about
two seconds
Unlocking button was
pressed or pressing tool
was not in starting position
` Release start button
` Press unlocking button: roller
drive moves to its starting
position
` Repeat the pressing operation
Pressing tool is outside of
the operating temperature
` Bring the pressing tool into a
warmer/cooler environment
` Bring the pressing tool to the
required operating temperature
by performing multiple blank
pressing operations
