ATTENTION
Leaking connection caused by faulty welding
▶ The pipe to be welded must be kept in a tension-free position
during the welding procedure and the cooling-down phase.
▶ Air draughts through the pipe interior must be avoided.
1 Connect the electrofusion tool to the mains voltage.
✓ <Mains connection> LED display
lights up
(see figureA, i , page394).
2 Connect the connecting cable for electrofusion coupling to
the electrofusion coupling, electrofusion tape for anchor
point or electrofusion coupling with integrated thermal fuse.
✓ <Ready for welding> LED display
lights up
(see figureB, i , page394).
3 Press the start button.
✓ <Welding procedure> LED display
lights up and
the <Ready for welding> LED display
goes out
(see figureC, i , page394).
