To troubleshoot: 1. Disconnect the Gefen Switch from the computer. 2. Connect the USB device directly to the computer's USB port. 3. If it still doesn't work, check the device's user manual. 4. Update your system BIOS, chipset, or USB Host controller drivers from your System/Motherboard manufacturer’s website. 5. If it works when connected directly, try connecting another device to the Switch and then connecting the Switch to the computer.

  If the Device LED is orange and the units are no longer functioning on your Gefen Switch, an overcurrent condition has occurred. This happens because the USB device is drawing more power than the USB specification allows (500mA). To resolve this, power cycle the Receiver.
