Auxiliary Hydraulics Proportional
Joystick Control
When the excavator is running, use the thumb switch
(C, Figure 3-59) on the right joystick to control the
auxiliary hydraulics.

Slide thumb switch (C) to the right to move the auxil-
iary hydraulics in one direction; slide thumb switch (C)
to the left to move the auxiliary hydraulics in the oppo-
site direction.
Auxiliary Hydraulic Hammer Operation
Note: Use the power mode (refer to “Two-Speed Vari-
able Auxiliary Hydraulic Mode Selection”) when oper-
ating a hydraulic hammer attachment. Maximum
performance of hammer attachments is only possible
using the power mode.
To operate an auxiliary hydraulic hammer attachment,
press and hold trigger button (D, Figure 3-60) on the
right joystick. The hammer will operate continuously
until button (D) is released.
