OPERATION

Dust Port


WARNING: Never operate saw without the blade guard secured in place.
To do so could result in possible serious personal injury.
WARNING: To avoid personal injury, maintain proper adjustment of
blade tension, blade tracking, blade guides, and thrust bearings.
WARNING: To prevent accidental starting that could cause possible
serious personal injury, turn off the saw, remove the switch key, and unplug the
saw before working on the band saw.
WARNING: To avoid blade contact, adjust the blade guide assembly
to just clear the work piece. Failure to do so could result in serious personal
injury.
WARNING: Do not force the work piece against the blade. Light contact
permits easier cutting and prevents unwanted friction and heating of the blade.
WARNING: This is a wood cutting band saw. Do not use this saw to cut
metal.
Basic Operation Information
NOTE: Use scrap lumber to check the settings and to get the feel of operating
the band saw before attempting regular work.
