Passenger Talk and Quiet Mode
These convenience features are accessed on the menu of the center display.
Passenger Talk
Prevents the driver from having to shout to rear seat
passengers by using the driver’s built-in microphone to
“broadcast” through the vehicle’s speakers to the rear seat.
Quiet Mode
Accommodates sleeping rear passengers by shutting off
the rear speakers and turning the front speakers down to
volume 7.
Power Hands-free Smart Liftgate w/ Auto Open

Opens the liftgate automatically when you stand within 3 feet behind the
vehicle with the Proximity Key in your possession for more than 3 seconds.
This is a convenient feature, especially when your hands are full.
•
For “smart” liftgate function: all of the doors must be closed
and locked for at least 15 seconds and the driver’s Proximity
Key must have left the sensor’s range, at least momentarily
(like going into a store)

Upon returning to the sensor’s range, at the rear of the vehicle,
the hazard warning lights will blink and a chime will sound for
about 3 seconds to alert you the Proximity Key has been detected
and that the liftgate will unlatch and open
