Alerts the driver to approaching vehicles when backing out of
a parking space, with an audible alert and warning lights in the
outside mirrors. If no action is taken, the brakes are then applied.

Assists with vehicle parking and exit from both inside and outside
the vehicle.
• Allows for remote parking in a variety of scenarios,
such as straight-in, parallel and perpendicular parking
• Driver activates Remote Smart Parking process by
pressing the “RSPA” button on center console
• While driving slowly forward, the vehicle searches for a nearby,
eligible parking spot, displaying the spot on the Surround View Monitor
• When an eligible parking spot is identified, the driver is asked to select
the appropriate Parking Type (straight-in, parallel, or 90-degree)
• Driver can stay in the vehicle as it self-parks, by holding down the
“RSPA” button to park or...
• For tight parking spaces—after designating the parking type from inside the vehicle,
the driver can get out and complete the Remote Smart Parking from outside the vehicle
• The driver presses and holds the “in” or “out” buttons on the
smart key to move the vehicle into or out of a parking space
