Generator Interlock Kit Bryant 150 and 200, Type BJ main Breaker

WARNING
Only qualified personnel should be working on the panel box
An amateur should NEVER open the panel box
Please follow all rules and regulations of the National Electric Code
Step 1: Disassemble the interlock. Place the bottom plate (holes only) on the cover to the edge of the main breaker and the 2 pole
breaker directly below the main and mark holes.
Step 2: Turn off main breaker and remove panel cover.
Step 3: Drill holes as marked on panel cover with supplied 3/16 drill bit and remove all burs from drilling cover.
Step 4: Insert screws from rear of cover, install bottom plate, and install top plate (slotted) install thread lock to screws and install
retaining nuts. Ensure proper movement.
Step 5: Install 2 pole Generator breaker on top left side and place Generator Warning Sticker on Generator breaker.
Step 6: Combine the zip ties to make a loop and install zip ties around top set of breakers in panel as shown in picture below. Pull on
ends to make tight around breakers. Trim zip ties as needed and install Warning label next to release tab on zip tie at
generator breaker.

Panel Box Safety Warning

Installation Procedure

Disassemble and Mark Panel Cover

Disassemble interlock, place bottom plate on cover, mark holes for main and 2-pole breakers.

Remove Panel Cover

Turn off main breaker and remove the panel cover.

Drill Panel Cover Holes

Drill holes on the marked panel cover using a 3/16 drill bit and remove burrs.

Install Interlock Plates

Attach bottom and top plates to the panel cover with screws and thread lock.

Install Generator Breaker and Sticker

Install 2-pole generator breaker on the top left and apply the Generator Warning Sticker.

Secure Breakers with Zip Ties

Create a zip tie loop to secure the top set of breakers and attach the warning label.

Verify Operation and Re-install Cover

Re-install the panel cover and verify proper interlock operation for both breaker states.

Apply Labels and Final Checks

Apply Generator start-up and CAUTION labels. Ensure main and generator breakers cannot be on simultaneously.
