Summermodeissetupbythebutton___________.Theoperationoftheboilerinthe
summermodeisdisplayedbytheloghtofLEDdiodeoverthebutton_______.Theboilerin
summermodeignoresanyrequestforheatingfromtheroomthermostatorOPENTHERM
contacts.
Theboilerinsummermodecanonlypreparehotwater.Summermodeoftheboilerisalsoa
standbymodeforactivatinganti-freezingfunctionandprotectionofthepump.
Anti-freezingfunctionprotectstheboileraswellastheheatingcircuit.Ifthetemperatureof
heatingwaterdropsunder6°C,theboilerstartsworkingtominimumheatingoutputandturns
offafterhavingreached15°Ctemperatureofheatingwater.
Automaticprotectionofthepumppreventsblockingthepump,soifitisnotworkingmore
than24hours,thepumpisactivatedfor30seconds.
1.Operationwithoutaroomthermostatinthiscaseitisnecessarytohaveaconnectionon
theterminalboardbetweenT1andT2contacts.Thisconnectionismadefromtheproduction
unit.Theboilerpreparesheatingwatertothechosentemperature.
2.Operationwitharoomthermostattheboilerisregulatedbytheroomthermostatandkeeps
thesetuptemperatureofheatingwater.TheroomthermostatisconnectedtotheT1andT2
contactsontheterminalboardinsteadofadisconnectedjumper.Or,insteadoftheroom
thermostat,aregulatorsuchasHONEYWELLCX51,CR11010whichapartfromother
functionsalsoservesasaroomthermostat,canbeconnectedthroughOPENTHERM
contacts.
.Operationoftheboilerbytheoutsidetemperature.Theboilerhasanoutsidesensorof
temperature(HoneywellSO10075)andanequithermalcurveischosen.Totheboilercanbe
alsoconnectedaroomthermostatwhichinfluencesswitchingonandoffoftheboilerandthe
temperatureofheatingwaterissetautomaticlybytherealoutsidetemperature.
Fortheoperationoftheboilerwithathrough-flowheatingofwater(KST),thedemandfor
heatingisrecordedbythethrough-flowsensorofhotwaterrespondingtohotwater
withdrawal.Themaximumconnectingpressureofhotwatercanbeof6bar.Intheareas
withhigherhardnessofwateritisnecessarytosoftenthewaterenteringtheboilertoprevent
incrustationoftheboardheatexchangerforhotwater.
FortheoperationwiththeexternalhotwaterstoragetankitisnecessarytoconnecttotheL,
N,Rcontactsontheterminalboardthedriveofathree-wayvalvewithoutamicroswitchand
totheS1,S2contactsasensorforhotwatertemperature.Theboilerprepareshotwaterin
winteraswellasinsummermodewhilehotwaterisaprioritytotherequestforheating.If
