If necessary, the holding force can be adjusted (9.). According to EN 1155, the release torque should
amount to 40 Nm - 120 Nm for a door with 90° hold-open angle.

7.1 First Operation and Function Test

Open door leaf and engage in electrical hold-open device.

Interrupt power supply.

7.2 Testing for acceptance (only for use in a hold-open device)
An acceptance test must be carried out in order to ascertain the correct function and installation according to
the regulations once the installation has been completed on site. Acceptance test to be performed by authorised
personnel; see “Instructions for Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of the GEZE Hold-Open
Device FA GC”
