Allfusionjointsmustcooloffcompletelybeforethe
pressuretestcommences.Asarule,awaiting
periodofat least 1 hourshouldbeobservedafter
completionofthelastfusionjointingoperation.

Thefollowingconditionsmustbefulfilledfor
faultfreeoperationofthefusionjointingunit:

mainsfrequency  min.47 Hzmax.65 Hz
temperature  min.–15°Cmax.40°C
Theselevelsareverifiedcontinuouslybythefusion
unitduringthefusionjointingoperation.Inthe
eventofvariationsthefusionprocessisinterrupted
and the Faultpilotlampflashes.
Fusion check
Avisualcheckthatfusionhastakenplaceis
providedbytheemergenceofapinofmaterial.
Connectthefusionunittothemainspowersupply.
Insertfusioncableinfittingorfittings.
Startthefusionoperationbypressingthe
STARTbutton.
