TheHWSG3istobehandled,transportedandstoredwith
due care:
•TheHWSG3shouldbetransportedandstoredinits
originalpackaging.
•WhenstoringtheHWSG3,itshouldbeprotectedagainst
detrimentaleffects,suchasdust,dirtandhumidity.
5. Intended use
TheHWSG3fusiondeviceisintendedexclusivelyforjoining
electrofusionfittings(HWS)andPBpipesintheINSTAFLEX
system.
4.2 User requirements
and operator responsibility
WhenfusionisperformedwiththeHWSG3,the
planner/installeroftheINSTAFLEXsystemisresponsiblefor
warranting that:
•theHWSG3isusedonlyasintended.
•operation,maintenanceandrepairareconductedby
authorizedpersonnelonly.
•personnelreceivesperiodicinstructioninoccupational
safetyandenvironmentprotection.
•personnelisfamiliarwiththeinstructionmanualand
adheres to the instructions contained therein.
