Lighting the Water Heater
Before lighting or re-lighting your
water heater, make sure that you
have read and understood all of
the instructions and warnings in this
manual and on your water heater. If
you have any questions about light-
ing your water heater, immediately contact a qualified
installer, service agency or the gas supplier.
WARNING
DO NOT light this water heater if:
• It is not full of water.
• The gas supplied does not match the type
listed on the rating plate.
• Gasoline or other flammable vapours and
liquids have been stored in the vicinity of the
water heater.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in
property damage, personal injury, or death.
