Adjusting the Seat
The seat is adjusted with the quick-release. The tightness of the quick-release clamp can be adjusted
with the hand nut on the opposite side of the handle.
Brake Adjustment
Your bike’s front and rear brakes have a pad that ride on the rim of the wheel for braking. These are
adjusted by tightening the cable and by adjusting the stem of the pad. The front brake should be
adjusted so that it slows the tire but cannot make it skid. The rear brake should be adjusted so that if
necessary it can skid the tire. Adjust the pads on both sides of the bike. Cables also have adjustment at
the brake levers on the handlebars. Take note that the rear brake is on the left side of the handlebar,
and the front brake is on the right side of the handlebar.
