Why is there no hot water in my Glacier bay 1001819034?
    • C
      christianwalshJul 25, 2025
If there's no hot water, it could be due to a couple of reasons. The lines might be reversed, or the cartridge could be installed upside down. Try rotating the cartridge 180°. Alternatively, the balance valve in the cartridge might be clogged with debris; in this case, clean the bottom of the cartridge.

What to do if my Glacier bay 1001819034 spout is leaking or dripping when the handle is closed?
    • K
      Karen StarkJul 31, 2025
If your spout is leaking or dripping when the handle is closed, several issues could be the cause: * The cartridge might not be properly installed, so try reinstalling it. * The sealed washer on the cartridge may not be in place; check its position or replace the cartridge. * The bonnet nut might not be tight enough; use a wrench to retighten it sufficiently.

How to fix low water flow in Glacier bay 1001819034?
    • F
      fgoodmanAug 6, 2025
A low or absent water flow could stem from a few causes. First, make sure both water supplies are fully turned on by checking the water supply valves. Next, verify that the stop valves are completely open. Lastly, a blocked screen filter in the spray head can also cause this issue. To resolve this, turn off the water supply at the angle valve, unscrew the spray head from the spray hose, and clean the screen filter under running water.

Why does water come out of the tub spout and showerhead at the same time in my Glacier Bay Kitchen & Bath Fixtures?
    • K
      Keith LittleAug 12, 2025
Water coming out of both the tub spout and showerhead simultaneously can be due to several reasons. The pipe between the valve and tub spout might not be the correct 1/2 in. IPS or COPPER pipe; change it to the correct type. Also, the distance between the valve and showerhead may be too short, in which case you should move the distance from the showerhead and valve to at least 48 in.. A restriction between the valve and tub spout could also be the cause; remove the tub spout and flush out any debris, replacing any undersized lines or fittings. Finally, the valve might be installed upside down; remove and reinstall it correctly.

What to do if the handle of my Glacier bay 1001819034 Kitchen & Bath Fixtures cannot be installed or rubs against the escutcheon?
    • A
      Amber OrtegaAug 18, 2025
If the handle cannot be installed or rubs against the escutcheon, it's possible that the valve is installed too far back from the finished wall. You will need to reinstall the valve.
