What to do if there is leaking or dripping from the spout of my Glacier Bay Bathroom Fixtures when the handle is closed?
    • S
      Stephanie CookAug 17, 2025
If you notice leaking or dripping from the spout when the handle is closed, it could be due to a few reasons. The cartridge might not be properly installed, so try reinstalling it. Also, check to ensure the sealed washer on the cartridge is in place; if it's missing, replace the cartridge. Another possibility is that the bonnet nut isn't tightened enough. Use a wrench to retighten the bonnet nut sufficiently.

Why is there no flow or low water flow in my Glacier Bay Bathroom Fixtures?
    • E
      Emma DavisAug 20, 2025
A lack of water flow or low water flow could be caused by several factors. Check if one or both water supplies are not turned on and ensure both water supply valves are in the 'on' position. Also, the stop valves might be turned off or not fully turned on; make sure to fully turn them on. Finally, the screen filter in the spray head could be blocked. To resolve this, turn off the water supply at the angle valve and unscrew the spray head from the spray hose, then clean the screen filter under running water.

What to do if water comes out of the tub spout and showerhead at the same time in my Glacier Bay Bathroom Fixtures?
    • N
      Nina LucasAug 23, 2025
If water is coming out of both the tub spout and showerhead simultaneously, it could be due to several reasons: * The pipe used between the valve and the tub spout is not 1/2 in. IPS, or the COPPER pipe is incorrect. Change the pipe to IPS or COPPER. * The distance between the valve and the showerhead is less than 48 in.. The distance from the showerhead and valve moved to at least 48 in.. * There is a restriction between the valve and the tub spout. Remove the tub spout, flush out any debris, and replace any undersized lines or fittings. * The valve is installed upside down. Remove the valve and reinstall it with the correct orientation.

If the handle is hard to turn, the bonnet nut might be too tight. Try loosening the bonnet nut and reinstalling it, being careful not to overtighten it.

Why is there no hot water from my Glacier bay 1005877845?
    • C
      Carolyn AndersonAug 28, 2025
If you are not getting any hot water from your Glacier Bay Kitchen & Bath Fixtures, it could be due to a couple of reasons. Either the lines are reversed, or the cartridge is installed upside down, in which case you should rotate the cartridge 180°. Alternatively, the balance valve in the cartridge might be clogged with debris; try cleaning the bottom of the cartridge.

What to do if the handle cannot be installed on Glacier Bay Kitchen & Bath Fixtures?
    • D
Dr. Angel Young DVMSep 12, 2025
If you're having trouble installing the handle on your Glacier Bay Kitchen & Bath Fixtures, or if the handle rubs against the escutcheon, it's possible that the valve is installed too far back from the finished wall. Reinstall the valve (refer to Step 2 of the Installation section).
