Battery installation
If necessary, switch off the device by pressing
the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds. Remove the
battery cover located on the back of the unit by
twisting off the screw, and access the battery
compartment. Insert 4 x 1.5V AA LR6 Alkaline bat-
teries (or AA rechargeable batteries), replace
the cover and twist on the screw. The batteries
must be positioned with the correct polarity indi-
cated on the compartment. An incorrect posi-
tioning of the batteries may damage the unit.
Cables connection
It is possible to use one or two cables depending
on how many channels (one or two) are used.
For the connection, insert the cable connector
into the appropriate lodging located on the
upper part of the unit. The lodgings are located
precisely under the corresponding channel (left
or right). Insert the cable under the selected
channel. For IONOPHORESIS use Channel 1 only.
Application of electrodes
Take the electrodes out of the original package;
all the new electrodes have a sealed package.
Make sure that the device is turned off.
Begin by connecting the two cable jacks to the
electrodes, then remove the electrodes from
their seat and place them onto the skin. For the
correct positioning of electrodes, refer to the pic-
tures provided by this manual.
After use, replace the electrodes in the appro-
priate seat.
CAUTION: Do not remove the electrodes if the
unit is working.
WARNINGS AND INFORMATION FOR FIRST USE
Before using the device for the first time, it is
necessary to:
- Read this user manual carefully;
- Visually examine the device and all its parts to
identify any signs of external damage;
- If all the segments appear on the display when
the device is turned on, turn it off and then again
on; if all the segments appear again, contact
the customer service and do not use the device.
- If the software version/model appear on the
display when the device is turned on, the latter is
ready for use.
- If the machine cuts out immediately after tur-
ning it on, this means that the battery level is
insufficient for use. In this case, replace the bat-
teries following the instructions in the “Battery
installation” section.
