UROLOGY PROGRAMMES INFORMATION (Probes are available upon payment)
Type
Urology applications involve the use of endovaginal or endorectal probes for the specific intended use and which
must be EC MDD certified according to the 93/42/EEC directive; probes must be bipolar and equipped with a 2 mm
female socket for cables with 2 mm male connectors.
Warnings
Given the medical use of these applications, they should only be performed upon consent of medical personnel.
Use
For a correct use of probes, follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer or medical personnel supervising
the patient.
Maintenance
For cleaning, sterilizing, and disinfecting the probes refer to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Recommendations
In case of deterioration of the probe, it should be replaced and no longer used.
