Heating: The primary heating function is provided by 275W heat lamps. The 2-lamp model (GHL255W) offers two heat lamps, while the 4-lamp model (GHL455W) provides four, allowing for varying levels of radiant heat. These lamps are designed to provide immediate warmth, making the bathroom more comfortable, especially during colder periods.
Lighting: A central 9W R63 LED globe provides general illumination for the room. This light can be operated independently of the heating and ventilation functions.
Ventilation: An integrated exhaust fan is designed to extract air from the room, helping to remove steam, odors, and excess moisture. Light Control: A dedicated "LIGHT" switch turns the central LED globe on and off.
Fan Control: A "FAN" switch activates and deactivates the ventilation fan. It is recommended to always turn the fan on when using the heat lamps to minimize heat build-up within the unit.
Heat Control: The heat lamps are controlled by one or two "HEAT" switches, depending on the model. For the 2-lamp unit, one "HEAT" switch will turn both lamps on or off. For the 4-lamp unit, pressing one "HEAT" switch will activate two heat lamps, while pressing both "HEAT" switches will turn on all four heat lamps, providing greater heating intensity.

Exterior Cleaning: The globes and the front fascia can be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with water or a neutral detergent.

Lamp Replacement: Heat lamps and light bulbs are consumable items. When replacing them, unscrew the old lamps anticlockwise and screw in the new ones firmly to ensure good electrical contact. Care should be taken not to overtighten the lamps, as this can damage the lamp holders or the lamps themselves. The heat lamps and light bulbs supplied with the unit are test bulbs and are not covered under the product warranty.

Installation Considerations

Installation of this product must be carried out by a registered electrician in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 and any local regulations, especially concerning mounting in damp areas. The unit is designed for installation in flat ceilings with a minimum height of 2.1 meters from the floor and should not be installed directly above shower or bath recesses or enclosures. Specific clearance requirements must be adhered to: at least 250mm away from vertical walls, a minimum of 100mm above the top of the unit, and 50mm clearance between the sides of the unit and joists, walls, or insulation. The appliance must not be covered with insulating material or similar materials.
