IT IS IMPORTANT FOR THE INSTALLER TO
UNDERSTAND THE NECESSITY OF THE NYLON
WASHERS (#34) PROVIDED. THESE WASHERS
ADEQUATELY SPACE PAINTED PARTS AT THE
PIVOT POINTS. NEGLECTING THE USE OF THESE
WASHERS WILL RESULT IN RUSTED PARTS.

Make sure Goaliath
lettering is right side
up as shown.

HELPFUL HINT:
To secure item #34 (3M-6883-00) Nylon Washer in position for assembly use
several small strips of tape, drops of hot melt glue or other adhesive.
Make sure Nylon Washer is positioned correctly before securing.
Attach Lower Arm (#4) to the holes that are centered on the pole, the
offset holes will be used for a later step (for arm stops). Tighten
hardware but back off half a turn once you feel the hardware is
snug. Make sure Nylon Washers (#34) are installed between the arms
and Pole as shown.
