16. Observe the car jack and the vehicle to be lifted while the device is in use.
Do not let the car jack and vehicle out of your sight.
17. Before each use, check the car jack for damage, oil leaks, corrosion and
missing parts such as rollers or safety pins. Do not use the car jack if it is
damaged or parts are missing.
18. Any conversions or modifications which adversely affect the conformity of
the car jack with the EN 1494:2000+A1:2008 standard may not be carried
out.
19. The safety valve is correctly set at the factory and does not need to be
readjusted.
20. Keep the notices and symbols on the car jack in good condition.
21. Children and persons who are mentally or physically impaired must not
handle the device. They cannot correctly assess the hazards posed by the
device.
22. Do not use the car jack under the following circumstances:
- under difficult conditions (e.g. very cold or hot climate, influence of
strong magnetic radiation) and similar situations.
- in connection with explosive substances, mines etc. and similar
situations.
- lifting loads containing materials such as: molten metal, acid, radioactive
material, or loose goods that are not connected to each other and similar
situations.
- in contact with food and similar situations.
- on ships and similar situations.
23. Only use accessories that have been supplied.
24. Place the car jack in such a way that it only lifts on the areas of the
vehicle which will be suitable based on the model.
25. Always support the load with appropriate vehicle supports after lifting the
vehicle before working on the vehicle.
26. Do not overload the car jack beyond its nominal capacity. This can
damage to the car jack and cause it to malfunction.
27. This car jack is designed for use only on hard, level surfaces capable of
carrying the load. Use on other surfaces can lead to instability and
possible slippage of the load.
28. Centre the load on the lifting plate before lifting the vehicle. Loads placed
off-centre can cause the load to slip or damage the car jack and your
vehicle.
29. KEEP YOUR HANDS AND FEET AWAY FROM THE HINGE MECHANISM OF
THE CAR JACK AND FROM THE FLOOR CONTACT AREA WHEN
LOWERING THE LOAD!
30. THIS CAR JACK IS ONLY DESIGNED TO LIFT ONE PART OF THE VEHICLE.
DO NOT MOVE OR MOVE THE VEHICLE WHEN IT HAS BEEN LIFTED WITH
THE CAR JACK.
31. Use of the device must be discontinued if a leak appears. It must be
ensured that no additional oil emerges and that the oil which has already
leaked is collected promptly and disposed of in the appropriate manner.
32. If the car jack no longer lowers as desired, ensure that the vehicle is
supported with chassis stands to prevent undesired lowering. Procure an
additional car jack with which you can raise the vehicle far enough to
remove the defective car jack safely. Seek professional assistance if you
are unsure.
Always give the lifted vehicle additional support using chassis stands. Never
use the floor jack alone to support the load. Holding the load over long periods
can overload the appliance and lead to personal injury and material damage.
