Toasting frozen bread
Set the desired darkness. Insert the frozen bread in the toasting slots and push the operating
lever down. Then press the AUFTAUEN (defrost) button. If the function ‘Defrost’ is activated,
the AUFTAUEN (defrost) power light will illuminate and the toasting process will be prolonged.
Reheating Bread
If you would like to reheat bread that has already cooled off, insert it and push the operating
lever down. Then immediately press the AUFWÄRMEN (reheat) button after the operating
lever has locked into place. If the function ‘Reheat’ is activated, the AUFWÄRMEN (reheat)
power light will illuminate and the toasting process is automatically set to 30 seconds.
Toasting rolls
ATTENTION!
❐ Accumulation of heat! Never place the rolls directly on the toasting slots. Only use the roll
rack for toasting rolls, do not place any slices of bread or objects on the roll adapter.
❐ Set the darkness lower when using the roll rack to prevent the rolls from burning and the
device from overheating!
❐ Burn hazard! The outside of the rolls may become very hot. If necessary, use kitchen tongs
to turn over the rolls.
1. Take the roll rack and fold the two brackets down.
2. Insert the brackets in the toasting slots.
3. Place no more than two rolls on the roll rack.
4. Select a lower darkness setting and push the operating lever down. After the deactivation of
the toaster or once the bottom of the rolls has browned sufciently, turn the rolls over and
repeat the toasting process.
