Shackle the shrouds to port and star-
board to the eye bolt nuts of the bridge-
yoke.
Fasten the the bridge-yoke to the xing
frame unit by means of the 4 knurled nuts
Inate the boat to operating pressure.
Attach the furling drum to the stemhead-
strake by means of the large shackle.
Feed the furling line through the clamcle-
at located on the xing frame base plate.
Fasten the end of the furling line to clam-
cleats eyelet to avoid accidental tail end
loss of the line.
Clip carbine attached to the jibs tack, to
the furling drum.
Turn the bolt of the shackle by 180°
until it locks into the notch on the
shank.
Do not use tools to squeeze the
shackles shanks.
If the shackle has lost tension and
does not noticeably lock into the
notch, replace it, or prize the shanks
open a little until sufcient tension is
restored.
Always check shackle tension prior to
assembly.
