spongetodrywithoutdamage.Itis
advisabletouseadrysealtoavoidwater
gettingsuckedintoairductsandinsidethe
body.
!Donotdiporusethesealinthepresenceof
anyoil-basedproducts.Oilandoilproducts
(machineoil+lubricants)willpermanently
damagethesealandcannotberemoved.If
thesealhasabsorbedanyoil,itshouldbe
disposedofsafely,thebaseshouldbe
cleaned,andthesealreplaced.
!Donotuseorstorethesealinthepresence
ofchemicalsolvents.Kerosene,acetone,
turpentine,benzene,acids,etc.andeven
theirfumesinclosedspacesorthinlayers
onsurfacescanmeltthesealanddamage
itsstructureandcausefailure.
