6.1 STEERING CONTROLS
The right and left hand controls should be checked
each time the unit is used. Any parts or pivot points that
show signs of wear should be replaced.
6.2 OPERATOR PRESENCE CONTROL
The presence control linkage opens a switch when the
hand grips are squeezed by the operator.
The electrical switch is normally open and will shut off
the engine when the hand grips are released.
