REPLACING THE HYDRAULIC OIL FILTER
Replace the hydraulic oil lter after the rst 50 hours of
operation and every 500 hours thereafter.

accommodate belt stretch and wear in the traction
drive or mower drive. Refer to Service and Adjustments
for procedures.
CLEANING
Clean engine, battery, seat, deck, etc. of all dirt

3. Add more oil if needed.
4. Tighten ll cap securely.
See engine manual for detailed instructions.
IMPORTANT: Maintain proper oil level to prevent
extensive engine wear or damage. Never operate the
engine with the oil level below the "L" mark or over the
"F" mark on the dipstick.
CHANGE ENGINE OIL AND FILTER
Only use high quality detergent oil rated with API
service classication SF or SG. Select the oils
SAE viscosity grade according to your expected
environmental temperature.
See Engine Manual for detailed instructions.

WARNING: HYDRAULIC FLUID UNDER
PRESSURE can penetrate skin and cause
severe burns that can result in death or
serious injury. ALWAYS keep body and hands
away from pin holes or nozzles which eject
hydraulic uid under pressure. ALWAYS use
paper or cardboard and not hands to search
leaks. Know that all hydraulic uid
connections are tight and all hydraulic hoses
and lines are in good condition BEFORE
applying pressure to the system. Foreign uid
injected into the skin must be surgically
removed within a few hours by a doctor
familiar with this form of injury or gangrene
may result.
