      Billy EvansJul 25, 2025
Several factors can contribute to a poor cooling effect in your Gree Air Conditioner. The filter might be dirty or blocked, or the room may have too heavy a heat load due to many people. Open doors or windows, blocked inlet and outlet of the IDU, a too high temperature setting, refrigerant leaks, or a deteriorating room temperature sensor could also be responsible.

If your Gree Air Conditioner stops running after a while, it could be due to the inlet or outlet of the outdoor (ODU) or indoor unit (IDU) being blocked by an obstacle. It might also indicate an abnormal control loop. Another possibility is that you have set the unit to cooling mode when the outdoor ambient temperature is higher than 43°C.
