What to do if my GreenWorks GD60PS motor runs, but the chain does not cut correctly, or the motor stops after around 3 seconds?

  If your GreenWorks Pole Saw motor runs, but the chain doesn't cut correctly, or the motor stops after about 3 seconds, it could be due to these reasons: * The machine stops when used under load. Release the trigger and start the machine again. * The chain is not lubricated. Lubricate the chain to decrease friction.

Why does my GreenWorks Pole Saw bar and chain get hot and smoke?

  Your GreenWorks Pole Saw bar and chain might get hot and smoke due to several reasons: * The oil tank is empty, so you need to fill it. * The discharge port is blocked. Remove the battery pack and clean any dirt from the discharge port. * The inlet opening of the inner oil tank is blocked. Clean the oil tank and fill it with clean bar and chain lubricant. * The sprocket is stuck and clogged with debris. Clean the sprocket and fill it with clean bar and chain lubricant.

Why does the bar and chain get too hot and can not cut on my GreenWorks Pole Saw?

  The bar and chain of your GreenWorks Pole Saw might get too hot and unable to cut due to: * The chain tension being too tight or too loose. Please, refer to the manual section about adjusting the chain tension. * A dull chain. Sharpen or replace the chain. * The chain being put on backwards. Take out the chain and turn it in the right direction.

How to fix a GreenWorks GD60PS Pole Saw that does not start?

  Your GreenWorks Pole Saw might not start because: * The poles are not assembled correctly. Assemble the poles according to the instructions. * The lock-out button and trigger are not depressed at the same time. Push and hold the lock-out button, and while holding it, pull the trigger. Release the lock-out button to start the machine.
