KNOW YOUR STRING TRIMMER (See Figure 1.)
The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the product and in
this operator’s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before use of this
product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.
1. SAFETY LOCK-OUT BUTTON
The safety lock-out button prevents accidental starting.
2. TRIGGER
Activates the string trimmer when pulled.
3. AUXILIARY HANDLE
The string trimmer is equipped with an auxiliary handle for added control and ease of operation.
4. GUARD
The trimmer includes a guard that helps protect from ying debris.
5. TRIMMER/EDGER BUTTONS
The lower end of the tool can be locked in two different positions for edging and trimming.
