- If the pump is used for
cleaning or other
maintenance of
swimming pools,
garden ponds or
similar places, make
sure that the pump is
supplied through a
residual-current circuit
breaker, RCCB, with a
tripping current of 30
mA.

- Make sure that the
power supply is
switched off before you
make any connections
in the terminal box.
The pump must be
earthed.

- Connect pumps that
are delivered without
cable and/or plugs to
an external mains
switch with a minimum
contact gap of 3 mm in
all poles.
SB, SBA: make sure that
there is at least 3 m free
cable above liquid level.
This limits the
installation depth to 7 m
for pumps with ten-meter
cable and to 2 m for
pumps with five-meter
cable.
