describe LS.

able to unpack, install and start up the product in a
safe way.
Sections 5-10 give important information about the
product, as well as information on service, fault
finding and disposal of the product.

1. General information
Grundfos LS horizontal split case pumps are
supplied either as a complete pump with motor, base
frame and approved coupling guard or as a bare
shaft pump.
These instructions apply to both types.
The LS pump can be driven by an electric motor or
another type of driver. In the following we assume
that the pump is driven by an electric motor.
