The pump may have been cut out by the thermal overload switch due to high liquid temperature or a blocked rotor. Ensure the liquid temperature is within the specified range, as the pump will restart automatically once it cools down. Finally, if the rotor is blocked but the thermal overload switch hasn't tripped, switch off the electrical supply and clean or repair the pump.
