  If your Grundfos Water Pump isn't running, several factors could be the cause. First, check if a fuse in the installation has blown and replace it if necessary. Also, ensure that the external circuit breaker is switched on. Another possibility is that a current-/voltage-operated ground fault interrupter has tripped; in this case, repair any insulation defects and reset the interrupter. The pump may have been cut out by the thermal overload switch due to high liquid temperature or a blocked rotor. Ensure the liquid temperature is within the specified range, as the pump will restart automatically once it cools down. Finally, if the rotor is blocked but the thermal overload switch hasn't tripped, switch off the electrical supply and clean or repair the pump.
