Volume
• Adjust the volume to the desired level with the
VOLUME control.
Surround Sound
This feature creates an additional 3-D effect from
stereo sound which is relayed by the speakers.
• Press SURROUND SOUND to switch this effect
on and off

Digital Sound Control (DSC)
The DSC feature creates a realistic atmosphere
for the style of music you select using the latest
digital sound technology.
• Press the DSC button on the unit or on the
remote control until the desired sound effect is
shown on the display: CLASSIC, ROCK or
POP.
Stereo headphone socket p
• You may connect stereo headphones having a
3.5 mm plug to the jack p.
– Inserting the plug will disconnect the speakers.
Switching on and off
• Press the STANDBY button to switch the unit
on.
– The STANDBY indicator 6 goes out when the
unit is on.
• To switch the unit off press the STANDBY
button again.
– The STANDBY indicator
6 lights up.
• When using mains supply, you can also use
the y button on the remote control (only RR
760 CD) to switch the unit on and off.
• When using battery supply, you can only
switch the unit on via the STANDBY button on
the set (the STANDBY indicator
6 goes out).
This is done to save battery life.
However, you can switch the unit off via the
remote control.
Source selection
• Select the desired source by switching the
FUNCTION switch in the respective position
(CD, TAPE or RADIO).
