Settings for the music archive mode with a
computer
If you wish to use the “Shared folders” function, you have to enter the
user name and password in the device so that it can access these
folders on a computer (or an external hard drive).
This is not necessary for the “Shared media” function. Access to these
media is controlled by a UPnP server. For this purpose, your device
has to be authorised on the UPnP server.
1 Press »MENU« to open the menu of the current source.

name. You can choose between numbers, lower and upper case
letters, and special characters.

« to scroll through the menu pages (numbers, letters, special
characters, etc.). When the selected character flashes, press

OK« to assign it to the user name or password.
If you make a mistake during entry, select the » « character and
press »OK« to confirm. The incorrect character is deleted. To
leave the menu without completing the key, select the »C« char-
acter and press »
OK« to confirm.
Once you have entered the complete user name, select the »
