Do you have a question about the GVM GVM-MIC-LM2 and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The GVM-MIC-LM2 is a 2.4G wireless microphone system designed for high-quality audio capture in various environments. It features a built-in microphone and supports an external extension microphone, offering flexibility for different recording scenarios. The system is engineered for stable signal transmission with low distortion and delay, ensuring a realistic reproduction of the human voice. An intelligent noise reduction algorithm is integrated to meet sound pickup requirements even in complex environments.

Function Description:

The system consists of a receiver (RX) and two transmitters (TX1 and TX2), housed in a portable charging box.

Transmitter (TX):

  • Built-in Microphone: Captures audio directly.
  • External Microphone Input: Allows connection of an external 3.5mm microphone, which automatically disables the built-in microphone when plugged in.
  • Local Recording Function: Features a built-in large-capacity 8GB eMMC memory chip for local recording, acting as a voice recorder. This ensures data safety even if the receiver disconnects or data is lost from the main recording device. Recordings are saved at -6dB for safety.
  • Automatic Loop Recording: When the memory is full, the system automatically deletes the oldest recording files to make space for new ones.
  • Recording Key: A short press initiates recording, and another short press stops it.
  • Battery Life: Offers approximately 10 hours of battery life when not recording and 5 hours when recording.
  • Charging: Charges via a Type-C socket.
  • Pairing: Can be paired with the receiver by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds when powered off.
  • System Reset: Pressing and holding the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds in the power-on state resets the system.
  • LED Indicators:
    • Work Light (Blue): Flashes once per second when not connected, stays solid when connected successfully.
    • Pairing Light (Blue): Flashes quickly (once every 0.5 seconds) during pairing. If no connection is made within 5 minutes, the device automatically shuts down.
    • Recording Light (Green): Stays on when recording, turns off when recording stops. Flashes once every 0.5 seconds when memory is full.
    • Low Power Light (Green/Red): Flashes alternately when battery is low.
    • Charging Indication (Red): Flashes once every 1.5 seconds during charging and turns off 5 seconds after full charge.

Receiver (RX):

  • TFT Screen Display: A 0.96-inch TFT screen displays critical information such as TX and RX battery power/charging status, connection status, microphone voice input strength (progress bar), system volume, EQ status, mute status, and noise reduction status. The screen brightness reduces after 10 seconds of inactivity and can be restored by pressing any button.
  • Volume Control: Three-stage volume control (low, medium, high) adjustable with a short press of the volume key. The system recalls the last volume setting before shutdown.
  • Mute Function: Long press the volume key for 2 seconds to mute, displaying a mute symbol on the LCD. Long press again to exit mute.
  • Noise Reduction: A short press of the noise reduction key activates ambient noise reduction (TX enters noise reduction mode); another short press turns it off.
  • EQ Sound Effect: A long press of the noise reduction key activates a fixed EQ value sound effect, enhancing middle and low frequencies; long press again to exit EQ.
  • Audio Output (LINE OUT): A 3.5mm TRS analog audio output for connecting to recording equipment like mobile phones, computers, SLR cameras, and camcorders.
  • Headphone Monitoring (HEADPHONE): A 3.5mm headphone output for real-time monitoring of the transmitter's audio.
  • Battery Life: Approximately 7 hours.
  • Charging: Charges via a Type-C socket.
  • USB Microphone Function: Can be connected to a computer or mobile phone via Type-C for use as a USB microphone.
  • Pairing Display: When pairing, TX1 and TX2 characters flash on the screen. After successful pairing, they remain solid. If no connection is made within 5 minutes, the device automatically shuts down.

Charging Box:

  • Large Capacity Battery: Built-in 3.7V 2800mAh battery, capable of charging two transmitters and one receiver more than 3 times.
  • Intelligent Identification: Automatically enters standby mode when devices inside are fully charged.
  • Battery Level Indicators: Four LEDs indicate the charging box's battery level (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
  • Charging: Uses a Type-C charging interface. Recommended to use a 5V/2A or greater USB power adapter for optimal charging.

Usage Features:

  • Collar Clip Design: Transmitters can be easily clipped to clothing.
  • Windproof Wool Cover: Recommended for outdoor or windy environments to minimize noise.
  • Camera Cold Shoe/Hot Shoe Mount: The receiver can be mounted on a camera's cold shoe or hot shoe.
  • Fixed EQ Value Switch: One-click vocal beautification.
  • Three-Stage Volume Control: Convenient for users to select desired volume levels.
  • Quick Environment Adaptation: Designed for quick and simple adaptation to current recording environments.
  • Long Battery Life: The large-capacity charging box ensures extended operation for travel, live broadcasts, and interviews.
