Riding Safety

General Safety and Risk Reduction

Remember that whenever you ride the Hovershoes, you risk injury or death from loss of control, collisions, and falls. You can reduce the risk by following all the instructions and warnings in this manual, but you cannot eliminate all the risks.

Protective Gear Requirements

Always wear a helmet when riding. Use an approved bicycle or skateboard helmet that fits properly with the chin strap in place, and provides protection for the back of your head.

Safe Riding Environment and Pedestrian Interaction

Do not attempt your first ride in any area where you might encounter children, pedestrians, pets, vehicles, or other obstacles. Respect pedestrians by always yielding the right of way.

Open the rubber cap, insert the plug into the charge port. Charge both mainframes simultaneously until the LED turns green.

Warnings

General Riding Hazards

Failure to follow warnings may result in death or serious injury due to loss of balance, traction, control, collisions, or falls.

Prohibited Riding Environments

Do not ride on public roads, traverse bumps, uneven terrain, slopes steeper than 10°, or through puddles/water.

Calibration and Alarms

Gyroshoe Calibration Procedure

Place the Gyroshoe upside down, power it off, and press the power button for 5 seconds until it beeps 3 times to complete calibration.

Overheating Alarm

If Hovershoes exceed 122°F (50°C), glow lights flash red, an alarm sounds, and charging is disabled. Power off to cool.

Other Alarms and Troubleshooting

For other alarms, try restarting the Hovershoes. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

Maintenance

Cleaning and Storing Hovershoes

Use a soft, wet cloth to wipe the mainframe clean. Stubborn dirt can be scrubbed with a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Cleaning Precautions

Do not wash with alcohol, gasoline, acetone, or use a power washer. Ensure powered off and port sealed before cleaning.
