Erasing drives
!
To avoid data loss, do not enter the operating system and read or write the drives during the
drive erasing process.
• To avoid drive failure, do not perform any other operations during the drive erasing process.
To erase drives:
1. On the storage controller configuration screen as shown in Figure 44, select Logical Device
Configuration, and press Enter.

2. On the screen as shown in Figure 45, select Secure Erase Drives, and press Enter.
