Defining the switch-on behaviour of the Staircase timer function
An ON-telegram to the "Staircase timer start / stop" object activates the staircase lighting time (T
ON
) the
duration of which is defined by the "Staircase lighting time" parameter. The DALI group switches to
switch-on brightness. At the end of the staircase lighting time, the DALI group switches off or optionally
activates the pre-warning time (T
prewarn
) of the pre-warning function (cf. Setting the pre-warning function
of the Staircase timer function"). Considering a pre-warning function, the Staircase timer function has
the switch-on behaviour as shown in Fig. 25.

In addition, the switch-on can be influenced by the Soft functions of the DALI Gateway. With a possible
Soft-ON-delay and Soft-OFF delay function, the Staircase timer function has the switch-on behaviour
as shown in Fig. 26.
