In addition, the switch-off can be influenced by the Soft functions of the DALI Gateway. With a possible
Soft-ON-delay and Soft-OFF delay function, the Staircase timer function has the switch-off behaviour

The "Response to OFF-telegram" parameter defines whether the staircase lighting time (T
ON
) of the
Staircase timer function can be stopped prematurely. This parameter is found in the "Groups - [x] group
name – Staircase timer function" parameter node
The Staircase timer function must be enabled.

Set the "Response to OFF-telegram" parameter to "Switch-off"
The devices of the DALI group shut off immediately once an OFF-telegram is received via the
"Staircase timer start / stop" object during the ON-phase of the staircase lighting time. If the staircase
lighting time is stopped prematurely by such a telegram, there will be no pre-warning, i.e. the pre-
warning time has not been started.
A shut off is also possible during dimming of a Soft function or during a pre-warning.

Set the "Response to OFF-telegram" parameter to "Ignore".
OFF telegrams that were received during the ON-phase of the staircase function via the “Staircase
timer start / stop” object will be discarded. The staircase lighting time will be completed, if applicable,
with a pre-warning.
